The modular Odu-Mac connectors are now available in the Medi-Flex series in a white plastic housing. This connector is specially designed for use in medical technology and testing. The two-piece cable hood is non-magnetic and guarantees trouble-free performance in applications such as imaging. The spindle lock of Medi-Flex provides visual and tactile feedback, confirming clearly that the spindle is locked, as is stipulated for Protection Class IP54 devices. A spindle tip can be used for more than 30,000 mating cycles. Customers can request numerous, non-magnetic contacts, such as RX/TX coax, and for signals to be placed in a connector to save space.
