The medical products from Samaplast AG are in demand in the dental industry, orthopedics, and in many other areas as well. The company also produces various implants, such as spinal vertebrae prostheses, components for knee and hip implants, port catheters, and cochlear implants. Samaplast makes samples and prototypes, provides part and tool engineering, and does manufacturing. It also produces plastic injection molded parts and components, including all necessary post-processing through to the final packaging compliant with ISO 11607. Medical parts, implants, and instruments are manufactured in two ISO Class 7, GMP-compliant cleanrooms (in operation) in accordance with EN ISO 14644. Samaplast ensures the quality of its products by observing manufacturing regulations and taking comprehensive hygienic actions that are monitored for compliance on a regular basis. It uses an ultra-pure water washing machine for the final cleaning of medical parts and for washing pre-turned and plastic parts.
